More and more states are adopting California's strict fire safety standards applicable to vendors using canopies/tents for public events such fairs, farmers markets, carnivals, parades and other similar events. In most counties throughout California, vendors are required to use flame retardant canopies. California Palms Inc. is proud to be one of the distributors of flame retardant canopies.

California Palms manufactures replacement tops and frames that fit all of our canopy systems and a variety other brands. Our quality tops are a great way to change out the worn out/faded old canopy top and bent frames. With distinctive scalloped edges or straight edge options and strong denier polyester fabric, our canopy tops are built to last.

Please be advised: Our Flame Retardant Canopy Tops are made water resistant from light rain, and are not meant to be waterproof and be used in heavy rain.

Note: To meet the California Fire Marshall standard on being fire retardant the fabric is unlike normal Plastic and/or fabric used on our normal canopy covers. These canopy tops are not sprayed with a PVC coating to fill in the slight differences in the alignment of threading in the fabric. Therefore, on a sunny day, little spots of light may be visible but is not a cause of concern as it does not affect the functionality of the canopy.
